Lorie Dillon, Principal
With more than 12 years of experience in corporate and technical communications, Lorie Dillon works with marketing managers, communications managers and corporate executives to complete time-sensitive, high profile projects. Lorie started her writing career with Indiana University Human Resources in 1994.
In 1996, Lorie joined EDS on an IT consulting account in Minneapolis where she led a team focused on improving internal communications with salespeople and consulting engineers. Since then, Lorie has worked with a wide range of organizations to produce targeted communications for business and consumer audiences. Her previous employers include state and federal government agencies, universities, software companies and architecture firms.
In 2007, Lorie decided to start a business focusing on content strategy, content development and communications project management. In January 2010, she incorporated the business as Lorie Dillon Group LLC. Lorie is a graduate of Indiana University's College of Arts and Sciences and the Ohio State University's College of Engineering. She is also a member of Chicago Creative Coalition and a pro bono consultant with the Taproot Foundation.
